This microporous polyurethane is known world-wide as a durable high performance underfoot cushion with excellent shock absorption properties. With its unique cell structure PORON^® 4000 pumps air and moisture vapour around the inside of the shoe while ensuring superb protection against the "step shocks" of walking and running.

It has been our privilege to work with this material since 1978. In that time we have not received a return for quality or heard a suggestion that PORON^® does not fulfil the makers' promises. We have never seen a case of deterioration of PORON^® 4000 during the functional life of a shoe, of PORON^® 4000 inserted by a manufacturer.

PORON 4000^® is offered in sheets, rolls, or as cut components, and with Permafresh™ anti-bacterial additive. We hold major stocks at all times for by-return delivery, in 1.6mm, 3.2mm and 6.35mm

UK stocks of standard PORON^® 4000 are held in Grey 1637.

Format: Sheets 112cm X 122cm or rolls (by special arrangement) 112cm wide. Custom widths also possible (by special arrangement) for larger users.

:: PORON^® 4000 with PERMAFRESH™

PORON^® 4000 with PERMAFRESH™ antibacterial agent attacks a broad spectrum of the bacteria which cause foot odour and disease.

PORON^® 4000 plus PERMAFRESH™ is available from UK stock in 1.6mm, 3.2mm, and 6.35mm, in Green 1636, but other colours are available on special order.

All PORON^® products offered by Algeos can be supplied 'kiss-cut' and adhesive- backed for use as heel plugs and other foot comfort components. A full cutting service for other components - insoles, heel pads etc is available and they can be packed to your specifications.
